Required Regents training this Thursday
Since we're up against it a bit with the June 5th Regents exam, I'm scheduling the required training for Thursday right after school in the flex lab.  This meeting  will be voluntary, but it can be used as your first faculty meeting for June. If you can't make it, I'll figure out a way to get you the info in timely fashion, especially if you're schedule to proctor next week.

Dollar General Award this Friday
A couple of weeks ago, an official from Dollar General's headquarters called me.  She let me know that our building would be receiving a substantial monetary award for materials in our library.  She didn't tell me how much, but we would be "very happy."  Two company representatives from their district office and a few local employees will be in attendance this Friday.  We will do this at the end of MS forum.  If you'd like to bring your 1st period class, it's OK with me.  It should be a nice surprise, and it won't take too long.

June 8 - Falcon Day of Excellence

Our proposed June 8 schedule is below.  During the assembly, HS yearbooks will be handed out and several musical pieces will be played by Ray's groups (thanks Ray). Heather will be doing some athletics awards through lunch periods.

As part of the assembly, I'd like to recognize 10 or 12 students for something special they've done this year.  It can be anything - academics, sports, community service, whatever.  Feel free to send me name(s) and I'll get these kids into the plan.

Middle School students are welcome especially because of the great music, although 6th graders will be out of the building.

Wellness Lunch - June 8
Come hungry, leave healthy!!  More details to come from Heather.

Thank you for already taking the time to do this in the fall and winter. Your input on this spring survey will help us with our summer and fall planning.

Brad Hurtig October 2nd
Just a reminder that Brad Hurtig will be coming to visit on October 2nd.  He's also bringing a band with him for a few tunes during the assembly and for a community concert in the evening.  We are lucky to have a speaker like Brad, so let's talk this up with the community.

Inclusion Fest 2018
