Both boys offer younger students some great advice.

P-Tech Program Info

Some folks have been wondering about the BOCES P-Tech program.  We currently have three ninth graders in the program, and we're looking to send a few for next year.  I put a document together that explains the program.  There are are couple of links in the document, so please click here if you'd like to check it out.

This month's Board Report

A clip worth watching

I saw this story on CBS Sunday Morning. I'm sure that the vast majority of people would not go to this man's extremes, but he does teach us a lot about tolerance and that growth is possible.

Sounds like a good idea to me!

March 14

Upcoming events below

Please review these important upcoming events.  For March 22, 29 and April 11, we will run a pep rally schedule.  This schedule still gets us 33 minutes per class period and 69 minutes for a blocked class.  If you have any questions or suggestions, please let me know.  Thanks.

March 22 - Musical Preview and Club Appreciation Day
To recognize our great musical, we'll show kids a preview on March 22nd.  Tera and Jessica came to me about recognizing our great clubs during that time, so we'll do that too. I'll also recognize our honor roll students at this time. I'm planning to run a pep rally type of schedule for this.  I know that it cuts a few minutes off of period lengths, but the sacrifice is worth it.

March 29 - March Madness Pep Rally
Our great student government advisers asked me for a pep rally to finish off March Madness week.  We'll make it fun for the kids.

April 11 - A day make up
After speaking with many of you, we will make April 11 an A day make up day.  For the last two weeks before break, the new ratio of A/C to B/D days will be 5 A/C's to 4 B/D's. This was not an easy decision, but it was made with input from others. The determining factor was that some of you could use the extra A day since we've missed 3 this year.  Thanks for input and the understanding.

April 11 - Distracted driver talk for high school students
A few weeks back, a rep from the state police in Geneva contacted me.  He had a speaker available to talk on the subject of distracted driving.  This lady lost a loved one to a distracted driver.  With the break coming up the next day and with events like the prom coming up, I took him up on the chance.  We'll run the pep rally schedule on that day.

Below is the pep rally schedule for this year.  This schedule is in the bell schedules tab of the master.

PD schedule
Please check the schedule.  If any changes are needed, let me or Missy know.

Notes concerning next year

The middle school schedule is pretty much set, and Scott is working on things for the high school Long story short, we're making good progress.

Business office notes

If you have anything you'd like to purchase, speak with me by April 15th.  This will minimize the end of year last minute orders and receipts.  This does not include any of those end of year necessary purchases.

Please keep an eye on the calendar tab of the master.
I've been putting all school-wide events in there.
